Embroidery Fonts and Monogram Alphabets for Your Embroidery Machine

15 embroidery fonts and alphabets that cover the work people actually bring to a machine: names on backpacks, monograms on towels, team letters on hoodies and quick applique letters for kids' clothes. Every set lists its letter height and stitch count, and they all come in the usual machine formats (PES, DST, JEF, EXP, HUS, VP3, XXX and more).

Why a subscription for fonts

A single font on Creative Fabrica costs a dollar or two, so here's the honest math. One font is rarely enough: a varsity block for kids' clothes, a script for gifts, an applique alphabet for quick work, a frame for monograms, numbers for birthdays. That's five or six purchases before you've finished a week of orders. All Access is $47 for the year and covers every font on this page, plus 145,000+ other embroidery designs and a commercial license. The trial gives you 10 downloads to check the stitch quality first.

FAQ

What is a BX file and do I need one?

A BX file lets you type with the font inside Embrilliance software instead of placing letters one by one. Two fonts on this page include it — Magnolia Script and Great Vibes. The rest work as individual letter files on any machine.

How do I know the letters will fit?

Each set above lists letter height, not just hoop size. Measure the space on your garment first, then pick the size — a 4 inch letter on a toddler shirt is a mistake you only make once.

Which file format do I need?

Brother and Babylock machines use PES, Janome uses JEF, Tajima and most commercial machines use DST, Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff use HUS and VP3. These sets come with all of them.

Can I sell what I stitch?

Yes — the subscription includes a commercial license on everything you download.
