The numbers behind every guide

Two figures decide most machine embroidery outcomes, and both are printed on every product page: stitch count and hoop size. A home machine runs roughly 600 to 800 stitches a minute, so 6,000 stitches is about ten minutes of machine time and 40,000 is closer to an hour before thread changes. Hoop size tells you what will physically fit — and whether you need to re-hoop halfway through.
